Clinical Nurse Coordinator - OR - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise, years of experience, and other factors. Position Highlights Position: Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL Job Type: Full time Hours: 7a to 3:30p with rotating weekend, call, and holiday schedules Responsibilities Has accountability for perioperative nursing care in designated surgical specialties. Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources, and staffing. Secures/procures and maintains supplies, equipment, and instruments necessary for optimal surgical care. Coordinates perioperative workflows and communicates with all key stakeholders working in the perioperative areas. Qualifications Education: BSN or enrollment in an accredited BSN program. Degree must be acquired within 24 months of hire. Certification/License: IL RN License CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association Experience: Experience in an operating room setting. Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking, and effective communication. Demonstrated competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty. Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
