Our Team, Your Impact Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician II role in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is working to develop a good working knowledge of the Manufacturing facility and ancillary support equipment. This person will take direction from the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Lead and, under their and the other Maintenance team members’ direction, will be working to ensure the manufacturing equipment is running at peak efficiencies. Once trained, this person will be responsible for the completion of the established preventive maintenance procedures, major and minor repairs on the manufacturing equipment as well as the ancillary equipment. How You’ll Spend Your Day Being an integral part of a Positive, Motivated Industrial Maintenance Team – Focused on Equipment Reliability, Continuously Strengthening Skillset(s) & Knowledge, in order to reduce equipment downtime, and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Work in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) temperature‑controlled, clean facility that prioritizes a safe work environment. Be engaged & goal‑driven, aspiring to be successful at your craft, enabling balanced workloads amongst the team. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance based on the established schedules, including routine preventive maintenance activities, ultrasound air‑leak surveys, IR scans and vibration monitoring/analysis. Support the Operations department by troubleshooting equipment issues and working with technicians to increase equipment uptime. Apply continuous improvement and root‑cause problem‑solving, focusing on equipment and process reliability and motivating others to strive for success. Execute both routine and non‑routine work orders timely, with proper documentation (e.g., logbooks filled out and work orders detailed). Adhere to established policies, procedures and standard operating procedures. Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment, such as Bosch flow wrappers, Uhlmann cartoners and thermo‑formers, case packers, palletizers, bottling equipment, vision inspection systems, and electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment. Participate in operational improvement meetings, safety meetings and vendor consultations. Use a multitude of electrical and mechanical test equipment and tools. Be computer‑literate and able to use common programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, and learn new software with training. Perform other duties as required by management. Your Skills and Experience Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Also Good to Have Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
