Medical Assistant

Position Overview

A rapidly growing specialty surgical practice is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Prepare examination rooms and clinical equipment
• Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
• Document patient information within the EMR system
• Coordinate testing, referrals, and follow-up care
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient workflows
• Maintain clinical supplies and ensure a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Prior medical assistant or clinical support experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
