Medicaid Program Specialist

Conduct market research supporting product and program development, strategic planning, and market growth initiatives Lead implementation and evaluation of marketing projects, providing recommendations for product enhancements and performance optimization Oversee the Medicaid Extra Benefits Program, including vendor management, budget oversight, reporting, member escalations, compliance with SCDHHS requirements, and support for Member Services and Care Management Lead annual planning, program enhancements, member communications, and internal training Research, coordinate, manage, and implement major marketing projects Manage products and programs after launch or implementation, including promotional campaigns, strategic planning, and product management Conduct primary market research on competitors, industry, customers, trends, portfolios, product development, regulations, and related topics Build and maintain relationships with external companies and vendors Ensure activities align with strategic plans, timelines, and budgets Develop project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation Oversee project managers and test teams, including assignments, testing, and direction Monitor budgeted costs and delivery timelines Identify business requirements and support new business implementations or acquisitions Facilitate project missions, goals, tasks, resource requirements, service levels, and customer requirements Maintain stakeholder communication throughout projects Resolve or assist with conflicts within and between projects or functional areas Analyze customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction with products and processes Complete other tasks and projects assigned by management Requirements Bachelor's degree in any field 3 years marketing support and project coordination and implementations Strong knowledge of business development, strategic planning, marketing support and process improvement Strong knowledge of marketing principles and techniques Strong project planning and analytical/critical thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in market research, project management, and strategic planning to drive product development and marketing initiatives.
