What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on evaluation of inmate needs and functioning
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support tailored to inmate requirements
• Document all treatment and evaluations accurately in health records, maintaining strict confidentiality
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to support inmates' mental health
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective mental health service delivery
• Maintain compliance with security and confidentiality protocols at all times

What You Need

Required:

• Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
• Social security card and driver's license for facility clearance
• Open availability for flexible scheduling
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention

Preferred:

• Prior experience working in correctional or detention settings
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
