About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and direct its financial and risk management activities. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker who can forecast and provide direction based on both internal and external data, and who is capable of advising on industry-specific challenges and opportunities. The CFO will also be involved in developing business strategy, strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with a range of financial regulations. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have at least 15 years' of in-depth finance management experience, with a preference for those holding a Master's in Business Administration and a CPA or CMA. Strong government contracting experience is essential, particularly with CAS, FAR, and DFAR. The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing or construction industry, and possess a strong sense of self-confidence, decisiveness, and a high degree of personal accountability. Superior communication, presentation, and leadership skills are required, as is a commitment to developing and motivating people. The CFO will also be responsible for IT and contracts leadership, so experience in these areas is preferred.
