With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!Job Title: Director of SalesDepartments: Sales and MarketingSupervision Exercised: Sales and Marketing DepartmentSupervision Received: General Manager with dotted line to Corporate Director of SalesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experienceExperienceMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Associate Director of Sales in a similar sized propertySkills & KnowledgeStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to lead, train, and mentor a sales team.Proficiency in hotel sales systems, Microsoft Office, and PMS platforms.Knowledge of STR, TravelClick, forecasting, budgeting, and sales productivity reporting.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Understanding of group and catering pace, marketing plans, and financial expectations.Job DutiesLead, train, and manage the Sales, Catering, and Conference Services teams.Achieve or exceed budgeted revenues, RevPAR, and market penetration goals.Develop and execute sales strategies, action plans, and team goals.Oversee professional and timely proposals, contracts, and follow-up.Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management within the department.Conduct sales calls, client entertainment, and site inspections; maintain strong account relationships.Review and ensure accuracy of sales and group contracts.Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing, forecasting, and business mix strategies.Assist with annual budget, marketing plans, and quarterly ownership presentations.Monitor team productivity, financial performance, and market conditions.Create and distribute monthly sales reports to senior leadership.Partner with Marketing on promotional strategies and brand visibility.Maintain accurate sales records and respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours.Address guest and client concerns and ensure corrective action.Perform other duties as assigned.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
