Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description We are providing an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in HEMPSTEAD, New York. In this role, you will be integral in maintaining accurate financial records and processing various accounting functions. This role is ideally suited for someone with a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Carry out precise credit applications processing for customers. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any financial discrepancies. Perform billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out and payments are posted correctly. Implement collection calls for overdue accounts to facilitate smooth financial operations. Engage in various ad hoc accounting projects as required. Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites effectively for various tasks. Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed. Qualifications Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Experience with Microsoft Outlook Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations Experience in Billing Functions #J-18808-Ljbffr
