Gulf Side Physical Therapy is actively looking for a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in San Bernardino, California. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical functionality and mobility to establish individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation strategies and exercises that empower patients to regain strength, coordination, and independence.
• Collaborate daily with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care that addresses various aspects of their health.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote lasting recovery.
• Utilize a user-friendly Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document patient progress and maintain detailed records of assessments and treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and continuous learning opportunities, including clinical rounds and workshops, to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client base consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sport-related injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Many patients benefit from our home care approach, allowing them to receive therapy in a supportive environment, which can enhance comfort and compliance. Your role will be to partner with these patients to create and navigate personalized recovery journeys that align with their goals and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California or be eligible for licensure.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced certifications or degrees may be preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and clinical reasoning, especially related to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, although motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas such as dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, or manual therapy techniques will be considered a plus.
• An interest in mentorship or clinical education, fostering professional development both for yourself and others within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
