Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Riverside, California. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in helping patients regain their mobility, enhance their physical function, and achieve their personal best through tailored rehabilitation programs. Work Environment

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Meridian Shine, you will work onsite in our innovative rehab center, ensuring a hands-on approach to patient care. We operate Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. You will collaborate with a team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive environment where knowledge-sharing and best practices are encouraged. Our team atmosphere, combined with the use of cutting-edge rehabilitation technology, allows us to optimize treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their rehabilitation needs and establish treatment objectives.
• Manage a manageable patient load, averaging one patient per hour, to ensure that each individual receives focused and personalized care.
• Create individualized care plans utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques aimed at improving movement and function.
• Employ manual therapy techniques effectively to enhance patient mobility and minimize discomfort.
• Develop and implement customized exercise regimens tailored to individual fitness levels to promote optimal recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's wellbeing are addressed.
• Promote patient education regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to foster a healthy recovery.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy sessions to maximize their functional capabilities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and make necessary modifications to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures and conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain. The emphasis on individualized care means that you'll tailor your techniques to suit each patient's specific needs, preferences, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record and no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong understanding of manual therapy techniques and patient-centric care approaches.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and technologies.
• History of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in coordinated patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
