Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Lakeland Health & Fitness, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive onsite rehabilitation center. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and therapies designed specifically for orthopedic rehabilitation. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that fosters collaboration and innovation. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities, limitations, and treatment needs for individuals with orthopedic conditions.
• Develop customized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with patients' rehabilitation goals and outcomes.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
• Provide education and resources to patients regarding post-surgical recovery techniques and effective injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Work alongside physicians and other therapists to discuss progress, modify treatment plans, and optimize patient outcomes effectively.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic therapy techniques to continuously integrate best practices into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing orthopedic injuries, including but not limited to sports-related conditions, post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, fractures, and chronic pain issues. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their recovery process, helping to restore function and independence through tailored treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active California Physical Therapist license.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic assessment methods.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a preference for those who have worked in similar clinical settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification, ensuring readiness for emergencies within a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
