Position Overview

Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic in Fontana, California, is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time. This role is essential for delivering exceptional care aimed at restoring patients' mobility and enhancing their overall quality of life. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work collaboratively to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

As part of our onsite team, you will benefit from a structured schedule, working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, establishing their goals and treatment requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload, treating one individual per hour, ensuring focused and effective therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to optimize patient recovery.
• Provide education and resources to patients on alternative treatments to reduce dependence on medications or surgical options.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
• Promote and design fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. We treat a diverse range of individuals, from adolescent athletes seeking to return to play to seniors focusing on maintaining mobility and independence. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to the patient's conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, showcasing excellent communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of physical therapy modalities and treatment techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
