Pricing Analyst

A growing packaging and supply chain solutions organization serving leading food manufacturers, co-packers, retail brands, and restaurant groups across North America. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing pricing models, managing vendor cost changes, supporting margin optimization initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. This role requires a blend of strong analytical capabilities and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate is comfortable building processes from the ground up, communicating pricing strategies to stakeholders, and operating with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment. This is a highly visible opportunity with direct exposure to leadership and significant impact on the organization’s profitability and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities Continuously improve pricing workflows to accelerate turnaround time between vendor cost changes and customer pricing updates Manage vendor cost change processes from supplier notification through pricing adjustments and internal communication Audit customer pricing structures to identify margin leakage, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams to proactively assess market and commodity trends impacting pricing Support Business Development teams with pricing analysis and customer quoting for new and existing accounts Collaborate with Finance on margin reporting, forecasting inputs, and scenario analysis Provide pricing insights, market context, and analytical support to leadership and commercial teams Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to support strategic decision-making Systems & Analytics Build and maintain advanced Excel-based pricing models and reporting tools Evaluate and recommend technology enhancements to improve pricing automation and reporting capabilities Develop dashboards and visual reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms Job Requirements: 3–5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial analytics Experience building or improving pricing processes and workflows Advanced Excel skills with experience creating dynamic pricing or financial models Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to present data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership teams Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment with significant ownership and accountability Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms Exposure to AI tools and automation technologies supporting analytics or business processes Full-time employees are also eligible for benefits options such as health coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k benefits.
