Pricing Analyst

We’re looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team in the near north suburbs of Chicago. In this high-impact role, you’ll help shape pricing decisions across customer accounts, product categories, and service lines—including sourcing, design, warehousing, and distribution. What You’ll Do: As our Pricing Analyst, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing pricing models that drive both competitiveness and profitability. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and help ensure pricing integrity across the business. Develop and maintain pricing models for new and existing customer contracts, including RFQ/RFP pricing. Analyze gross margin performance by customer, product, and service line to identify margin pressure and recommend pricing adjustments. Evaluate promotional pricing initiatives and measure their financial impact on profitability. Conduct customer-level and product-level P&L analysis to support strategic account decisions. Maintain pricing accuracy and integrity within the ERP system. Build monthly and quarterly dashboards to track pricing KPIs such as price realization, discount rates, and margin trends. Use BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, along with advanced Excel, to analyze large datasets and turn insights into action. Partner closely with sales to review pricing proposals and align them with company margin goals. Collaborate with procurement and operations to calculate accurate cost structures for new and existing product launches. Support finance during budgeting and forecasting cycles with pricing-related insights and analysis. About YOU: 3–5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related field within manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or B2B supply chain environments. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Power Query, and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Navision, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Familiarity with BI and reporting tools, including Power BI and Tableau. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
