In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, creating the opportunity to globally grow both brands together./ppBuilt on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team and support our continued growth./ppThis role will be involved in the operation of assembly equipment to manufacture plastic parts for cooler related products meeting quality and production standards./ppEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliManually assembles parts by following specific work instructions/liliMonitors parts/product for quality issues and notifies the Line Lead, Quality, Supervisor or Manager if a discrepancy is detected/liliPlaces fully assembled items in boxes into their designated locations/liliFollows all safety policies and procedures/liliMaintains good housekeeping practices in their work area and all common areas/liliPerforms activities including screw gunning, foaming, cleaning and drain plug operation/liliUnderstands the escalation process in case he/she is not receiving the proper tools, training and guidance/liliMeets both Efficiency and Quality standards at all times while working on the lines/liliMonitors the assembly machinery for proper functionality and contact line lead or supervisor if any defects in the line or machinery are detected/liliReports any activity or machinery that is unsafe to the Line Lead and/or Supervisor/liliWears all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times/liliAdheres to dress code and hair policy/liliComplies with the companys quality policy at all times/liliExhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance/liliMay be required to work mandatory overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business needs/liliRelieves other Machine Operators as needed/liliTrain operators as required/liliParticipates in Continuous Improvement Initiatives/liliSupports Line Leaders as requested/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpWhat do we offer?/ppYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. High noise level requires use of hearing protection./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications: Willingness to work extended hours or rotating shifts as business needs require./ppPhysical Demands Conditions: Standing Walking Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing. Postural Requirements Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks. Lifting Material Handling Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift. Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts. Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used./ppFine Motor Skills Tool Use Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision./ppVisual Requirements Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation./ppEnvironmental Conditions Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100120F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter. High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
