- Implement individualized speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing mechanics.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop unified care strategies.
- Provide informative education to patients and families, ensuring progress continues beyond clinical sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing uninterrupted care throughout the healing process.
- Maintain comprehensive and timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational practices.
- Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hiring.
- Expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques for all age groups, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing.
