3 month contract (potential T-P Opp)

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, electronics, and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect electronic components and completed assemblies for defects, damage, or quality inconsistencies.
• Perform basic functional testing and identify technical issues that may affect product quality or performance.
• Measure parts and components using tools such as calipers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Maintain accurate production logs, time sheets, and quality records.
• Consistently meet established production schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety standards.
• Communicate production issues, material shortages, equipment problems, or quality concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Work effectively with team members across the 45-person department to support overall production goals.
• Perform other manufacturing-related assembly duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2 years or more of hands-on assembly experience (preferably with electronics or electronic components).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, schematics, diagrams, and basic technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools, soldering/crimping tools (if applicable), and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by position tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience assembling electronic components within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
• Experience using calipers, torque tools, gauges, or other precision inspection tools.
• Ability to assemble complex units directly from engineering drawings or bills of materials (BOMs).
