Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Inspect, diagnose and perform mechanical repairs
- Industrial and fabrication repairs
- adjusting and replacing brakes, suspensions, alignments
- Basic steel and aluminum welding
- Request parts necessary to complete work tickets
- Complete paperwork and documentation for repairs and inspections (per DOT requirements)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Team player
- Commitment to listen and follow instructions; deadline and detail oriented
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb on or under trailers
- Lift up to 75 lbs intermittently, and carry up to 60 lbs on occasion
- Strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or GED
- Candidates must have a basic set of tools and toolbox
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
