Customer Service Representative

Robert Half is partnering with a nonprofit organization to identify a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a service-oriented professional who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and making a positive impact through their work.

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers and clients, providing responsive, professional support while helping resolve questions and requests. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 6 months; after successfully completing the initial 6 months, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule of 3 days remote and 2 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels
• Provide friendly, professional, and timely customer service
• Research and resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues
• Accurately enter and update customer information in internal systems
• Follow up with customers to ensure questions and concerns are fully resolved
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions
• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs
• Follow established policies, procedures, and service standards
• Assist with additional administrative and customer support tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service, call center, administrative, or related experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, friendly, and service-oriented approach
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Comfortable learning new software and systems
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
