Position Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Design customized treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and long-term needs concerning communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions focusing on language, speech, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Engage in patient and family education to encourage progress beyond the therapeutic environment.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions as necessary to maintain continuity of care throughout patients' journeys.
• Document treatment progress accurately and promptly in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay informed about advancements in your field via ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications Required

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
