HR Coordinator

HR Coordinator Location: Venice, CA Hybrid | Full-Time, Mon-Fri 9AM-4PM (~35Hours/Week) Pay: $30-35/hr Temporary Assignment (5-Month Contract) Are you the person who catches what everyone else misses? We're looking for a HR Coordinator to join a collaborative HR team on a temporary assignment supporting key recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Post and manage open job opportunities Coordinate new hire onboarding paperwork, including Form I-9 verification Prepare and process new hire payroll documentation Help create a seamless onboarding experience for new employees Audit and maintain employee records within the HRIS (UKG preferred) Review organizational charts and employee data for accuracy Conduct I-9 audits to ensure work authorization compliance Digitize and organize personnel files Update and maintain HR forms and document libraries Organize SharePoint HR files and improve document management processes Process Personnel Change Notices (PCNs) Coordinate and conduct exit interviews Ensure smooth employee separations Monitor and respond to the People & Culture inbox Assist with HR projects and administrative initiatives as needed What We're Looking For Previous HR, People Operations, or Human Resources Administration experience Experience working with an HRIS (UKG highly preferred) Strong knowledge of Form I-9s and employment eligibility verification Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage highly confidential employee information with professionalism Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Love This Opportunity Make an immediate impact on a busy People & Culture team Gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle Work in a collaborative, supportive HR environment Variety in your day - no two days look exactly the same Potential for assignment extension If you're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting employees behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you!
