Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time & Per Diem

Join Our In-House Subacute Rehabilitation Team!

AVIR at Brownwood is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide quality physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents’ needs and goals.

• Assist residents with improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.

• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team.

• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred.

• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
