Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)

The Home Health Aide (HHA) is a key member of our team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. In this role, you provide essential personal care services and monitor patients' well-being to support their comfort, safety, and independence at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, including:
• Bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, shampoos
• Skin and nail care
• Dressing/undressing assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Changing bed linens
• Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and prescribed exercises
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals
• Assist with feeding, if needed
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) in accordance with competency and plan of care
• Support patients with self-administration of medications
• Identify and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
• Use home care equipment safely and correctly

Qualifications

• Active California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience, ideally in a Home Health or Home Care setting
• Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle
• Strong communication skills and a passion for compassionate, patient-centered care
