LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for coordination of logistics activities for inbound delivery, transfer branch to branch and outbound distribution of various inventory and asset items. Logistics Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the flow of goods in a company. Common duties are storing goods, delivering items to customers, controlling stocks, supervising warehouse operations, and negotiating with suppliers. Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule is essential to this position. Schedules and monitors goods movement between supply chain nodes, and monitors logistics vendor performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works with Procurement/Purchasing to determine best inbound logistics models Coordinates movement of goods inbound, between branches for rebalancing activities, and outbound deliveries to customers Maintain logistics provider directory/rate book for use by other areas and ensure MSA compliance Reports logistics related KPIs On Time Delivery to Request and Commit (OTDr/OTDc) Logistics provider service level performance Monthly freight spend/cost analysis Ensures company controls are followed to enable invoice processing Logistics providers providing loading information (truck tallies etc.) and signed BOLs Coordinate and report parts runner utilization rates Other related duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of oilfield equipment/goods. Excellent customer service skills. Create/complete shipping documentation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced data analysis and data visualization Expert inventory management Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to travel 5% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Business Central or other customer relationship management (CRM) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software WORK ENVIRONMENT Office environment with frequent interruptions and regular branch visits. Enclosed warehouse, and storage yard. Occasional high noise level, dust, fumes such as fuel or exhaust may be encountered. Sometimes exposed inclement weather while working outside or driving vehicle. Occasionally exposed to bright or dim lighting conditions while driving SCHEDULE Available during normal operating hours with the ability to work extended hours when required by General Manager. “On Call” duties required. REQUIREMENTS All applicants must pass background screening and drug testing in accordance with position. DRUG TESTING REQUIREMENTS This position is subject to non‑DOT drug testing in accordance with Milford policies. DRIVING REQUIREMENTS This position requires a valid driver’s license and must pass MVR requirements in accordance with Milford policies. BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS This position is subject to a third‑party position specific background check in accordance with Milford policies and procedures. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATION One (1) year experience in logistics coordinator or related role, required. Bilingual, preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 5% of travel required. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, reach with arms, kneel and push/pull/lift 50 pounds. Ability to walk long distances in rough terrain. Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing ramps or stairs. Ability to wear PPE. Reaching overhead, at or below shoulder level. Keyboarding. Driving (and ability to maintain valid driver’s license and pass MVR in accordance with insurance requirements) Sitting for long periods of time. Standing for extended periods of time.
