You’ll support:
The Hudson Tunnel Project (Gateway Development Corporation)

– adding a new tunnel beneath the Hudson River to improve service along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and New Jersey Transit’s commuter rail into Penn Station.
The Newark Penn Station Modernization Project

– revitalizing one of NJ’s busiest transit hubs with modern upgrades, all while preserving its historic architecture.

Partner

with Project Manager in coordinating day-to-day project activities.
Assist

with reporting, scheduling, and document management to keep projects on track.
Mentor

and grow a talented team.

Must have a minimum of three(3) years of Right of Way acquisition experience
Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act
Understanding of project financials
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic databases
Must own an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC systems

Compensation for this position is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and employee travel reimbursements.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee occasionally is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This employee is required to occasionally travel to government buildings which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
