Medical Director – VCA Broadway Animal Hospital Join VCA Broadway Animal Hospital as a Medical Director. In this leadership role, you will oversee the medical quality and patient care provided by all doctors within the hospital, contribute to the hospital’s overall financial success, and set and drive the hospital’s strategic direction. 30% of your time will be dedicated to leadership responsibilities, with the remaining 70% focused on clinical duties as a staff veterinarian. Responsibilities Lead the hospital’s medical quality and patient care standards. Collaborate with field management and the hospital’s management team to drive financial success. Set and execute the strategic direction of the hospital. Provide 70% of time for direct clinical veterinary services as a staff veterinarian. Coordinate with a team of 3 full‑time DVMs, 2 credentialed veterinary technicians, and 2 veterinary assistants. Maintain relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering a culture of teaching and teamwork. Schedule & Cases Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (full time). Cases include cats and dogs. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Annual salary range $145k – $160k, negotiable based on experience. Additional variable pay programs may apply. Qualifications A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent. Licensure in good standing to practice in New York, or ability to obtain.
