Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT, ARMRIT, or CRT certification.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital MRI department,
• Procedures include Magnetic Resonance Imaging, with additional exposure to General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab, and CT preferred,
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM,
• Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday with one variable shift throughout the week,
• Rotating on-call and variable weekend requirements,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and at least one of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, CT, or MRI,
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting required,
• One of the following certifications required: ARRT (Radiography), ARMRIT (MRI), or CRT,
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) required within 30 days of hire,
• CA state license required if applicable,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Performs MRI procedures as the primary modality, with cross-training or background in General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab, or CT preferred,
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved,
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
