# Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Outpatient Office
\n**Location:** Whitestone, Queens, NY
\n**Job Type:** Part-Time with Potential to Transition to Full-Time
\n \nWe are seeking an experienced **Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)** to join our team at an **outpatient primary care office in Whitestone, Queens, NY**.
\n \nThe ideal candidate is a confident, independent provider who can assess, diagnose, and manage patients effectively while delivering high-quality care in an office-based outpatient setting. This position starts part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time.
\n \n### Responsibilities
\n- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
\n- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
\n- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
\n- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate.
\n- Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations.
\n- Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management.
\n- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
\n- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
\n- Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
\n \n### Qualifications
\n- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
\n- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license and appropriate certification.
\n- Previous primary care experience is required.
\n- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently within the NP scope of practice.
\n- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
\n- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
\n- Comfortable working independently in an outpatient office setting.
