Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab
Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide education to patients and families.
- Deliver procedural support and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Assist in moderate sedation recovery and management of acute and non-acute clinical situations.
- Maintain exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications:
- Current RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Telemetry experience is required.
- Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab is preferred.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, structured as four 10-hour shifts. The role may include straight nights and occasional weekends as necessary based on unit needs.
