Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

Join our dynamic Labor and Delivery team, where we support a beautiful campus environment fostering great camaraderie among staff. This unit provides a supportive atmosphere with opportunities for travelers to take part in engaging activities like book clubs and group dinners. Candidates with experience in various specialties such as circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, and low-risk antepartum care are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery, including attending all deliveries and high-risk deliveries.
• Perform nursing duties such as administering blood and blood products, managing epidural anesthesia, and conducting sterile vaginal exams.
• Support postpartum care and float as needed.
• Engage in patient education and assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active compact RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS (preferred).
• Epic experience is required.
