Job Title: Medical Assistant II

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 13- Week Contract (Potential Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week

 

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant II provides both clinical and administrative support to physicians by assisting with patient care, rooming, vital signs, EMR documentation, medication refills, appointment scheduling, and routine diagnostic procedures. This role ensures efficient clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient care.

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS Certification required.
• 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, patient scheduling, medication refills/prior authorizations, and chart preparation.
• Hands-on clinical skills including vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, vaccinations, cast/suture removal, and specimen collection preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and electronic medical record systems.
• Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to other physician offices as needed.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
