The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well‑being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families. “ MUST KNOW ASL” SIGN LANGUAGE Key Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Help clients with mobility and physical exercises, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document client progress and daily activities, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Assist with transportation to appointments or outings, ensuring clients remain engaged and active. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is preferred. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job and assist clients with mobility or lifting when necessary. Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and practices.
