You make deals move and margins hold. What you'll own Partner on Mid-Market and Enterprise proposals; support smaller deals on request Fast proposal turnaround from complete specifications Help compress proposal-to-negotiation cycle time Protect pricing accuracy and margin Build reusable proposal templates by segment and application vertical Coordinate sample production with manufacturing Quantify customer value: uptime, scrap reduction, brand impact, regulatory pass What it takes 5+ years in technical sales support, applications engineering, or estimating with direct customer-facing proposal involvement (pure back-office estimating is not the profile) Materials-science fluency (substrates, adhesives, liners, finishing) applied to real application environments Print-process literacy: flexographic, digital, offset; pressure-sensitive / narrow-web converting strongly preferred Built detailed cost models and value-aligned pricing strategies Comfortable joining customer calls to surface unmet pain (compliance, line speed, scrap, brand, recall risk) Executive-grade written communication; proposals read for decision-makers, not just spec sheets Why it's worth it This is NOT back-office estimating.
