Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Multimodality lab supporting Cath Lab, Vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro procedures across 3 labs
• Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Schedule of Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts from 06:30-17:00
• Requires flexibility with scheduling
• On-call responsibilities of 7-10 days per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Experience providing direct nursing care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Skilled in conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring

Additional Information

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare, set up, and manage equipment and supplies for procedures
• Document plan of care and patient status throughout procedures
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• First time travelers may be considered
