Senior Research Statistician - Oncology (Hybrid)

Senior Research Statistician supporting oncology drug development at AbbVie. Provides statistical expertise for clinical trials, safety analyses, and medical affairs studies, working across multiple disciplines in a hybrid North Chicago role.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and report clinical trials and scientific research studies with supervision
- Develop protocols and statistical analysis plans with implementation details for programming
- Identify data collection instruments and report data quality issues or assumption violations
- Perform statistical analyses and collaborate with programming teams to deliver timely outputs
- Develop data presentation strategies and ensure accuracy of statistical components in reports and publications
Requirements
- MS with 4+ years experience OR PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field
- Proficiency in R and SAS programming
- Experience with statistical computations and simulations
- Clinical trials statistics experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to identify analytical issues and collaborate for solutions
