Revenue Accounting Manager

Review and analyze deal review packages and professional services contracts Analyze revenue allocations and agreements to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition under ASC 606 and company policy Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages prepared for the VP Revenue, Controller, and CFO Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures Manage external and internal auditor deliverables across quarterly review and annual audit cycles Maintain and strengthen internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Develop and update SOX documentation Drive process improvement initiatives across the revenue accounting function Train and mentor staff accountants Build cross-functional relationships with Finance, Sales, and Legal Research and communicate relevant updates on new accounting standards Requirements 6+ years of progressive accounting experience at a Big 4 firm or a combination of Big 4 and industry Preferably exposure to a high-growth SaaS company Strong working knowledge of GAAP Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition Strong working knowledge of SOX internal controls CPA license or active candidacy BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent practical experience Proficiency in NetSuite, BlackLine, and advanced Excel Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Close attention to detail Ability to independently manage competing priorities against strict deadlines Clear, effective communication skills Collaborative approach to working with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in revenue recognition under ASC 606, GAAP compliance, and SOX internal controls, while effectively managing month-end close activities and financial reporting.
