About Us:

The Alexander Review is an emerging literary publication dedicated to showcasing diverse voices, creative perspectives, and thoughtful discourse.

We are a volunteer-driven, remote team working across different time zones to publish curated issues, support writers, and expand our reach within the literary and creative space.

Role Overview:

The Policy/Operations Support helps develop, update, and maintain internal policies and operational procedures. This role ensures consistency, clarity, and structure in how the organization operates.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and update internal policies and procedures
• Assist with creating and maintaining refund and operational policies
• Ensure consistency across organizational processes
• Help organize and maintain policy documentation
• Support improvements to internal workflows and systems

Qualifications:

• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to think logically and structure processes
• Interest in operations, policy, or organizational development

Additional Details:

This is a volunteer role , requiring approximately 5-7 hours per week. Fully remote, with a flexible schedule and occasional Zoom/Slack check-ins. A minimum 3-month commitment is preferred. You’ll gain hands-on experience developing and maintaining internal policies and supporting day-to-day operations. This is a flexible opportunity to build practical skills in organization, documentation, and process management while contributing in a meaningful way.
