Senior Accountant

Cordia Resources nonprofit client is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role will support critical accounting functions, including account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in nonprofit accounting practices and a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP Maintain and track fixed asset schedules, including depreciation Support accounts payable processing and vendor management Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required) 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards Experience with accounts payable and fixed asset accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software QuickBooks experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills IND123 #J-18808-Ljbffr
