FP&A Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an experienced FP&A Manager to support our global, multi-entity wholesale distribution client based in Torrance, California on a Long-term Contract basis. This position will play a key role in strengthening planning, forecasting, and reporting across a complex global business environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership and regional finance partners to deliver clear financial insights, improve decision support, and build more scalable finance processes.Responsibilities:• Direct the annual budgeting and operating plan cycle by coordinating timelines, preparing planning materials, and consolidating submissions from multiple business units.• Manage an ongoing rolling forecasting process that supports global operations and delivers meaningful analysis to guide business decisions.• Create and refine monthly leadership reporting, KPI dashboards, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.• Prepare financial reviews, variance analysis, and board-level reporting packages for executive discussions and strategic planning sessions.• Design consistent reporting formats and improve workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and comparability across entities.• Collaborate with finance teams across international regions to drive timely inputs, reinforce accountability, and maintain alignment with planning objectives.• Contribute to finance transformation efforts by supporting faster close activities, stronger forecast accuracy, and other high-impact initiatives.• Provide hands-on financial modeling and analytical support for ad hoc projects tied to performance management and business planning.• Improve utilization of Hyperion HFM, Planning, and Smart View reporting tools.
