Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Register patients accurately for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty services.
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
Collect and update patient demographic and financial information.
Explain patient financial responsibilities and assist with payment collection processes.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge-related registration activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
What You'll Bring:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Previous healthcare registration, insurance verification, billing, or customer service experience preferred.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of customer service OR healthcare related experience preferred.
License/Certification:
- None
