You will also work in a team environment, honing the credit and corporate banking skills necessary to be successful in the industry.**POSITION: Corporate and Investment Banking Associate – Credit Non-Bank Financial Institutions**Associate will cover non-bank financial institutions and have the opportunity to gain exposure to various sub-sectors (including but not limited to insurance brokers, wealth managers, and alternative asset managers, and insurance carriers), products and client groups as well as work closely with the Investment Banking origination team. Preference given for credit experience with insurance carriers.**In this capacity you will:*** Assist in the preparation of detailed high quality credit submissions for clients in the Financial Institutions sector, which will detail risks and mitigants and include a review of financial performance and key metrics, as part of a team.* Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data;* Construct and sensitize detailed financial models that help evaluate key credit metrics, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables;* Compile data through due diligence and prepare comprehensive credit reviews that analyze transactions and client risks;* Assist with deal negotiations and documentation; and* Interact with clients and credit adjudicators.**Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant credit and industry experience, with a combination of strong financial/analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
