Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, PCU

• Providing telemetry and stepdown-level care
• Conducting cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias using Rapid Response/Code teams
• Administering nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Managing cardiac drips and administering blood products
• Performing central line and peripheral line care
• Executing IV therapy/phlebotomy and ensuring isolation precautions

Requirements of the Registered Nurse, PCU

• Active New York Single State RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
