Staff Engineer, AI Platform

Designing and owning a new internal AI platform, the full-time Staff Engineer, AI Platform will create foundational architecture and tooling to enable teams across the company to develop AI-powered workflows, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design and manage the core AI infrastructure and agent framework to support internal teams in building and deploying AI solutions Provide technical guidance and support to help teams transition from ideas to working implementations, ensuring accessibility and usability of the platform Establish standards for evaluating and evolving AI capabilities, aligning infrastructure with broader architectural goals and ensuring reliability and quality Required qualifications 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling Hands-on experience with production AI systems, including LLM integrations and tool-using agents Strong instincts for API and abstraction design, with a focus on enabling other engineers Experience in delivering greenfield technical work and making impactful architectural decisions Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional alignment without formal authority
