CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a CNC Setup Milling Machinist in the Methuen, MA area. We're seeking an experienced CNC Setup Milling Machinist to join a busy machine shop. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently set up CNC milling machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts meet quality specifications. Responsibilities:

• Set up and troubleshoot CNC milling centers to support efficient production and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality, dimensional accuracy, and production efficiency.
• Support production operations in a fast-paced machine shop environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Minimum of two or more years of CNC milling setup experience required.
• Ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Basic understanding of G-code programming and machining concepts.
• Experience with Haas CNC mills is a plus, but not required.

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM $25-$30/hour + Overtime Available ITAR Company

Not Required: CNC programming Lathe/turning experience
