Part Time Phlebotomist-Tallahassee

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. Work Schedule: 25 hours weekly, Mon‑Fri 6:30am‑11:30am, rotating Saturday 7:00am‑11:00am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Certification from an accredited agency. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently or on a team. Comfortable with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Additional Job Standards Possibility of PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
