What You Need:

Experience: 5+ years of construction Safety experience in the Masonry and/or Concrete Field(Preferred)
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations, particularly in Masonry.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Certification: OSHA 10/30/500 certification Required; OSHA 510/500 Preferred
Language: Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish (Spanish is a MUST)

Your Role:

Conduct pre-construction job-site walkthroughs and generate site-specific safety plans.
Review safety section of construction contracts and provide feedback and redlines.
Perform regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company safety regulations.
Lead safety audits, document hazardous conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
Facilitate new hire safety orientations and provide ongoing safety training and education.
Accidents investigation and near-miss incidents; file appropriate paperwork and documentation needed.
Work with executives to manage workers compensation claims and handling.
Coordinate with injured employees and clinics to ensure compliance with return-to-work policies.
Details:

Type of Work: Construction Safety
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional weekend work as needed
