Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician to provide specialized support within the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac procedures and be capable of managing complex interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, supporting cardiologists during cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality visualization and safety standards.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide pre- and post-procedure patient care to ensure safety and comfort.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements, including certifications and licenses.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff to coordinate patient care and procedure schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and equipment logs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of one year of experience as a Cath Lab Technician, with a focus on cardiac procedures.
• Possess in-hand NJ Diagnostic Radiologic Technology License or have the ability to obtain and attach at submission.
• ARRT (R) Radiography certification preferred; relevant state licensure required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac rhythm interpretation, including arrhythmia analysis and calculations, passing a basic arrhythmia exam with 80% score.
• Be able to arrive within 30 minutes for emergency call, including weekends.
• Maintain current COVID vaccination and booster documentation.
