Job Description:
The facility is seeking a qualified Orthopedic Physician for coverage from June 26th at 7:00 AM to July 7th at 7:00 AM. The provider will be responsible for treating and managing orthopedic patients arriving through the ER, including performing necessary procedures such as orthopedic surgeries, stabilization, splinting, and related interventions. The provider will work a 24-hour call shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with on-call duties and potential for increased patient volume during community events.


Coverage details include:

• On Call Rate: $3,200 - $3,500 per 24 hours (including 4 hours of gratis time)
• Holiday 24-Hour Call Rate: $4,800 - $5,250 (including 4 hours of gratis time)
• Call Back Rate: $430 - $450 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours
• Holiday Call Back: $645 - $675 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours
• Orientation Rate: $215 - $225 per hour (half the hourly rate) after 8 hours, covering orientation and training beyond initial hours

Procedures required:

• Orthopedic surgeries and procedures
• Stabilizations and splinting
• Management of trauma, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, and tendon ruptures

EMR Systems: Meditech, Allscripts
Support Staff: ER and OR staff dedicated to supporting orthopedic care


Schedule and Availability:

• Dates: June 26, 2026, 7:00 AM – July 7, 2026, 7:00 AM
• Shift: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Patients per day: 2-5 (potential increase during community events)

Credentialing:

• Estimated timeframe: 2-4 weeks
• No prior credentialing with other facilities is required

Travel and Lodging:

• Preferred lodging arrangements available
• Air travel preferences to be discussed with the facility
