As an Access Control Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, maintain visitor and contractor access records, and help protect restricted areas within an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other access-control systems; report unusual activity, access discrepancies, and equipment concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
