Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)

Experience: 2+ years ICU experience; CVICU highly preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced care for ICU patients, including those on Impella and CRRT machines
• Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line placements
• Operate and monitor sophisticated medical equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Servo ventilators, and Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float across ICU units, and occasionally to ED or PACU, providing specialized intensive care
• Maintain compliance with all safety and hospital protocols
• Address patient needs during night shift, ensuring high-standard care and safety

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, CVICU experience highly preferred
• Epic EHR experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
• Ability to care for isolation patients, including Covid-19 cases, and familiarity with N95 mask sizing

• Experience with Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE devices
• Flexibility to float to various ICU units and related departments
